• The leadership team takes responsibility for setting the direction of the effort; allocating resources to the project (including human capital); making strategic choices; and leading the transition.

• At its root, value based management and value-adding growth are really about improving business acumen. One of the over arching themes of any program is to take as many opportunities as possible to teach others and to create opportunities for managers to become teachers to others within the company.
